Mindfulness is a simple form of meditation that reduces distracting and negative thoughts
By training your mind to focus on the task in hand, the technique is proven to reduce stress and boost employee performance, which is why businesses such as Amazon, Google, Unilever, Apple and Barclays all offer mindfulness training to their staff.
Studies show that mindfulness training offers a host of benefits, such as:
- Increasing the ability to pay attention and perform under pressure
- Raising levels of emotional awareness and resilience
- Enabling employees to make more rational economic decisions
- Reducing stress levels and increasing performance
- Improving staff health, leading to lower absenteeism
One of the beauties of mindfulness is its simplicity. Once you know how to do it, you can use this powerful technique quickly – even during a short break at work – and wherever you are.
We offer a range of mindfulness training options, which are all taught by one of the UK’s leading trainers. The courses are highly interactive – everyone involved tries mindfulness during the session and is encouraged to ask questions.
You can choose from four different options:
One-hour taster session
This gives you a bite-size introduction to mindfulness, showing you what it is and how it can help you.
½-day mindfulness essentials course
This longer session allows for a deeper exploration of the practice and benefits of mindfulness.
1-day practitioner essentials course
This course provides you with all the basic knowledge you need to start a regular mindfulness practice.
Eight-session practitioner programme
This is the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MSBR) course – first developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the 1970s and now the industry standard programme for potential mindfulness practitioners. The programme is backed by medical research and gives a thorough grounding in the subject. The course can be delivered in eight weekly sessions, or continually over four days.
